The Youth Leaders of Tomorrow Program, facilitated by the CDC of Tampa through the CareerSource Tampa Bay Summer Hires Program, gives students a powerful platform to gain real-world experience, grow their professional networks, and prepare for meaningful careers.

Participants work alongside local entrepreneurs and business leaders, developing essential job skills, engaging in hands-on projects, and receiving mentorship from professionals across diverse industries. These experiences not only strengthen resumes but also open doors to new career pathways and future opportunities.

Pitch Your Niche Showcase

On Wednesday, July 16th, Hillsborough College became a hub of creativity, innovation, and inspiration during the Pitch Your Niche Showcase. Youth from across the community, ages 16–21, took the stage to present bold business ideas and entrepreneurial visions — the culmination of weeks of immersive training in Leadership, Personal Finance, and Entrepreneurship.

From innovative tech solutions to community-focused services, the energy and ambition on display left the audience inspired and hopeful about the future. Parents, mentors, and community partners filled the space, serving as a strong reminder that behind every young leader is a network of support turning passion into purpose.
