Since 1992, Corporation to Develop Communities of Tampa has been working to alleviate poverty and create vibrant communities throughout the Tampa Bay Area. Our Youth Success Center focuses on developing tomorrow's leaders by providing them a solid foundation to build prosperous futures for themselves, their families, and their communities. The Youth Success Team is excited to announce its fourth annual initiative to invest in the future of our community's young women: Sisterhood Summit. This year's theme is Embrace Your Crown and Shine.

The Sisterhood Summit is a one-day conference for young women in the Tampa Bay Area, grades 9th-12th. On March 28, 2024, the event will be held at Tampa Bay History Center, bringing together 100 girls for a day of learning, sharing, and sisterhood. Girls will have an opportunity to meet with female leaders and role models in the community to discuss topics such as leadership, careers, entrepreneurship, mental health, and well-being, and empowering our self-esteem. This event will highlight the contributions of women who have paved paths in their careers and community and provide hope and healing as they transition from the pandemic. We hope to bring together women from all different areas of our community– politics, military, athletics, STEAM, business owners, and more– to show our girls that their potential is endless. Sisterhood Summit will be an opportunity for Tampa's women of today to inspire and mold our women of the future.
