Guest Speaker Patti Gander
Patti is the owner of Business Essential Skills Training. Patti has over thirty-five (35) years of manufacturing experience in aerospace, defense, and electronics manufacturing. Patti is a seasoned manufacturing veteran holding the positions of vice president of operations, plant manager, general manager, and lean implementation manager. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and has been employed in both commercial and military manufacturing environments.
Patti Gander has both an MBA and a Master of Management with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness. She is a subject matter expert in several areas within the manufacturing and training industry. Patti has developed training curricula covering topics in lean manufacturing, business process improvement, and quality best practices as well as in the areas of project management, management and leadership development.
Patti is currently an adjunct instructor for the University of South Florida (USF) teaching courses in the MBA program and the management program. Patti is currently teaching: Lean Six Sigma and Organizational Assessment, previous courses taught were HR Management, Principles of Management, Organizational Behavior, and Negotiation. Ms. Gander authored a book on organizational assessment through Great River Learning titled “Finding the Gaps in you Dominoes” released in 2017 and is currently authoring a book on leadership.
